  15. InfoSpy is a general purpose Windows environment viewer allowing you view
  16. Heap, Tasks, Windows, Classes, Modules, File Handles, DOS and Memory
  17. Information.  You can trace messages, stack and set up automatic timers
  18. to provide real-time tracing on virtually every aspect of Windows.

  20. The new System Sentry library lets you monitor Windows program usage, control
  21. what Windows programs can be executed, disallow users from running programs,
  22. disable the CTRL-ALT-DEL keys under Windows, and disable entire directories.

  24. InfoSpy has been updated to run under Windows 95. Still a 16 app but ALL
  25. functions work and provide accurate information for the Win95 environment!!

  27. InfoSpy has full task scheduling capability allowing you to schedule the
  28. execution of programs, Windows shutdown, Windows Restart, System Warmboot
  29. & Coldboot and the termination of any task.

  31. The Screen Capture Utility allows you to capture the entire desktop, a
  32. specific window or cut a portion of the screen to the clipboard. You can
  33. save the captured image as a bitmap too.

  35. The DLL search utility will examine any local or network drive for all
  36. programs that reference DLLs in order to provide a list of unreferenced
  37. DLLs. In addition, all duplicate DLLs are displayed with an option to
  38. delete the duplicates.

  40. The ICON search will examine any file, directory or drive for files
  41. containing ICONS and will list them (and draw them) in a convenient list.

  115. - WINDOWS 95 SUPPORT:
  116.   1. New DLL containing 32 bit Windows calls: INFWIN95.DLL. This Dll is loaded
  117.      only when InfoSpy recognizes Windows 95 as the Operating System.
  118.   2. New WIN95 selection on the main menu. This menu option only appears when
  119.      Windows 95 is the operating system.
  120.   3. Process List. Lists all processes under Windows 95. Double clicking on a
  121.      process will give process details.
  122.   4. Thread List. Lists all threads under Windows 95. Double clicking on a
  123.      thread will give thread details.
  124.   5. Modules. You select a process from the list and will see all 32 bit
  125.      modules loaded under that process. Double clicking on a module will give
  126.      module details.
  127.   6. Heap List. You select a process from the list and will see any heaps
  128.      (identifier only) used by that process.
  129.   7. Heap Entries. If you Double Click on the Heap List line you will get a
  130.      window showing all Heap Entries for that Heap.
  131.   8. Win32 System Info. Lists specific system info only available from the
  132.      WIN32 Kernel.
  133.   9. Win32 Memory Status. Lists Memory size and availability as provided by
  134.      the WIN32 Kernel.
  135.   10. Updated InfoSpy OPENFILE dialog to show the Long Filename as well as the
  136.      12 byte filename when Windows 95 is running.
  137.   11. All InfoSpy Alarms and Monitors (including icons) now use the WIN32
  138.       Memory Load API result to show Memory availability. This gives a fairly
  139.       accurate representation of memory usage under Windows 95.
  140.   12. The mini-File Manager has been updated so that the Disk Format and Disk
  141.       Clone functions now operate (quickly) under Windows 95.
  142.   13. Added new Terminate Process option added to the Action menu when Windows
  143.       95 is running.
  144.   14. The System Scheduler has been updated to allow timed termination of
  145.       processes instead of tasks. You can select from a running task or use
  146.       Browse to select a file name to terminate.
  147.   15. Created new OPEN FILE dialog for use under Windows 95 only. This openfile
  148.       dialog makes selections on a single mouse click, shows Size,Date,Time and
  149.       Attr of files and shows available disk space when selecting drives. It
  150.       also shows long filenames when available.

  152. - Corrected Scheduler bug that only ran the first scheduled job when InfoSpy

  156.   monitoring features of InfoSpy could not be upgraded in this
  157.   release to work under Windows 95. We added a YESNO box warning the user about
  158.   errors but giving them the choice to continue or not.
  159. - Removed the Terminate Task menu option from the Action menu when Windows 95
  160.   is running as it has no effect.
  161. - Added Com Port availability to the SYSTEM INFORMATION menu option under
  162.   SYSTEM. Shows which Com Ports Windows has access to.
  163. - Created an assembler Drive validation routine which all drive selection
  164.   listboxes and comboboxes now use. Only lists valid drives on your system
  165.   instead of always 'C'-'Z'.
  166. - Updated the UNINSTALL portion of the SETUP program to handle removing the
  167.   INFBOOT.386 device driver from the SYSTEM.INI file.
  168. - Updated INFFSDLL text search DLL so that it does not require BWCC.DLL
  169.   (borland custom control) on your system.
  170. - Corrected bug with the Logging function that was not logging a valid user
  171.   name from all InfoSpy functions.

  174.  - Added Option on {\b SPY} menu to lookup local atoms.

  178.    atom in the list. This procedure is restricted to very specific types of
  179.    atoms, so do not expect it to work globally!
  180.  - Added ability for Keyboard Trace to be started automatically when InfoSpy

  182.  - The Setup program has been improved so that it correctly adds the device
  183.    driver to the SYSTEM.INI file and also has a stronger uninstall feature
  184.    that scans the SYSTEM.INI and WIN.INI files for InfoSpy references.
  185.  - New TEXT SEARCH library. This library contains a highly functional Text
  186.    Search utility that can be used to search for text in any type of file.
  187.    Included is an unlimited size File Viewer that loads any file at the
  188.    location of the found text.
  189.  - New DUPLICATE FILE SEARCH and FILE FIND functions on the System menu. The
  190.    Duplicate file search will search a single or multiple local or network
  191.    drive(s) looking for duplicate files. The File Find will find any files
  192.    matching your criteria. Both searches allow for file size & date to be part
  193.    of the selection criteria. The resulting list will load an unlimited size
  194.    file viewer with a double click or will delete the selected file with the
  195.    right button click. Also Print, Clipboard and Save functionality.
  196.  - Removed the old File & Text search functions from the mini-File Manager.
  197.  - Corrected a bug in the Task list routine that caused a GPF in certain
  198.    circumstances.
  199.  - Updated System Snapshot so that you can specify a daily time for the
  200.    snapshot to take place (as well as every x minutes). For example, this would
  201.    allows users to automatically have a snapshot done every evening at 9:00pm.

  267. Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software before
  268. buying it. If you try a Shareware program and continue using it, you
